CEO Highlights Industry Resilience
CEO Cecilie Thorsmark noted that the season served as a ‘palette-cleanser,’ allowing the event to celebrate the brands’ strengths. "Copenhagen Fashion Week is only as great as the brands and designers that make up our schedule," she stated at the anniversary gala, attended by figures like models Alana Hadid and Adwoa Aboah, and DJ Louise Chen.

Notable Highlights
Several brands made triumphant returns, while new Nordic and international talent showcased their collections. The event featured gifting suites, dinners, and side-events alongside the main schedule.

International Expansion and Awards
CPHFW expanded its international presence, featuring designers from London, Lagos, and Finland. Paolina Russo, a previous Zalando Visionary Award winner, staged a battle of the bands during her show, while Institution by Galib Gassanoff, this year’s winner, presented a collection housed within Copenhagen’s Statens Museum for Kunst (SMK).

The inaugural international guest slot was filled by New York-based Collina Strada, showcasing a collection entirely composed of upcycled materials. Designer Hillary Taymour highlighted the challenges overcome in creating the collection, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
