Seiko's 10th anniversary love live! watch puts a spin on classic chronograph

Japanese watchmaker Seiko has done anime collaborations before, but its latest model on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Love Live! franchise takes a slightly different route.

Centered around aquors' bright blue color

Based on one of its classic chronograph styles, Seiko has put a spin on the watch to pay tribute to Aquors, one of the main idol groups in the series. The result is a stunning timepiece centered around a bright blue dial that mirrors Aquors' signature color.

The watch features a small date window at 3 o'clock and the series' central school's emblem on the sub-dial at 6 o'clock, making it a beautifully designed tribute to the franchise.

From a technical standpoint, it's still a fantastically functional Seiko chronograph, boasting a tachymeter bezel, 100 meters of water resistance, and a reliable Japanese quartz movement.

The 39.8mm case size makes it comfortable to wear and stylish enough to make a statement without being too bulky. It comes in a special collectors' box and retails for ¥59,400 ($366).
